Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay (25 September 1916 – 11 February 1968) was an Indian Philosopher, economist, sociologist, historian, journalist, and political scientist. He was one of the most important leaders of the Bhartiya JanSangh, the forerunner of the present day Bharatiya Janata Party. Deendayal Upadhyaya is well known for his idea as Integral Humanism- the concept which is deeply embedded in Indian psyche. The philosophy of integral humanism advocate the simultaneous and integrated program of the body, mind and intellect and soul of each human being. For 16 years (1951 to 1967) he was General Secretary of the Bharatiya JanSangh. He emerged as an all-round national leader but when this seasoned leader emerged as President of his party, destiny took him away from us in a mysterious and gory end. He was the JanSangh President for only 43 days from December29, 1967 to February 10, 1968. All the matter that has been given in public domain and we have just compiled it.
