Born in a small village in northern Kerala, Ramdas was greatly influenced by the religious bhajans of his father. From his early years, he began to devote his time towards prayer and chanting of his father's mantra i.e. Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram. With the belief that Ram was the only reality, he began to lead a very simple life of an ascetic. He toured in India, South East Asia and America. He opined, 'He is our constant companion. We can talk to Him. That is the sweetest realtionship.' The theme is divided into thirteen chapters having deep bearing on his early career, his ideology, saints and salvation, Mahipati's fondness for the saints, God and his Bhaktas, control of mind, the Kali Yuga, and last but not the least is various phases of his religious ideology.
This work would be useful for teachers, scholars and students in India and abroad.
